The Bakers Three
Fall has officially not arrived here in Texas. There is no chill in the air, no crispness in the early morn....it is warm here, a far cry from the memories of my childhood & snow on the ground by Halloween. I guess although it has not arrived with the weather, it has arrived in my heart, and so the girls & I did some fall baking - pumpkin bread & muffins......maybe it will work to bring the fall weather in - - if you bake it, it will come?
We can only hope.
Snow Monkies and Grace
Ranger Related Sort of: Here's Nolan Ryan talking about snow monkeys.
Tangent: I'm not sure the difference between Grace and Mercy so I looked it up.

Play Ball!
Well, hello Family Night. We have missed you.
With all the baseball hype surrounding us, and with a family night being long overdue, we thought why not combine - and so I bring you........ Baseball Night.
We wore our ball caps
We got us some peanuts....
and Crackerja...whoops, forgot the crackerjacks, but I did remember the Klondike bars....
Had some ball park hot dogs
We started off the activities with the old run-around-the-bat game
A big hit!
Then we played a mean game of ball.
JaneJane wanted to try to do it all by herself,
And then got a little help after she couldn't quite lift the bat.
We finished up the night playing freeze tag, and getting the whole family on the trampoline. Not really baseball-esque, but fun!

Just a Pinch
Secily & I were making cookies today. She thought that they looked just a tad too big on the cookie sheet - so she did what she needed to do.
That's much better.
That's much better.

Reunion Weekend
We had a great weekend together with old friends!
Eraina, Abby, Hilary & Cooper
A busy kitchen
Larson and his "Aunt Henry"
Sweet friends
The little ladies
This was the kids table one night. Yep - 10 of them, and that didn't include the 4 babies who were being held!!
Cooking....
It was good!
Front row seating for the 7:00 show.
A much calmer adult table later in the evening
Mom & Wendy
Mitch & Jeff
Mark, Ava, & Isaac
A couple more kids Mark, and they will be as tall as you!
The Zacs
Hi Anders.
Why walk when you can ride in style?
These two - watching football together. They call each other every year on the first day of football season - to rejoice. Then they call each other on the last - to lament.
So funny to see this pic of our kids, and think that we (Bryan, Jeff, myself, Mitch, Carson, & Mark) have been friends since we were this age! I love that the guys have married such great girls and that our kids will play together!
The whole crew -
