Good Friends, Good Times!
This past weekend, we headed over to Aledo to hang out at Jeff & Courtney's place, with a bunch of the TTech Crew. It had been so long since some of us had seen each other! We said it felt like a family reunion. It was great to catch up & it was so fun to have all of our kids play together.
JaneJane loved the pool!

Hay Now
These guys have a plan for cleaning up the oil in the gulf. Watch until at least the 2:50 mark.
Moral of the story: Always trust a man in overalls in regards to hay.

On the River
Last weekend, we decided to get out of the city, so we went to a place that is near and dear....Arkansas! Not just anywhere in Arkansas though....we went to a little spot right in-between Mt. Ida and Pencil Bluff....it was great. We stayed at the Rocky Shoals Resort and spent a peaceful weekend on the beautiful Ouachita River.
We fished
We canoed:
and spent the days outside.
A highlight of the trip was that, since we were staying just a hop-skip-and-a-jump away from the great Camp Ozark, we got together with our good friends - Carson & Hilary and new baby Cooper (handsome little guy!) as well as the one and only SuperDave (or as my kids dubbed him....SuperDavid).
Since we were in the area, we also made the short drive in to Mt. Ida to eat at the Dairyette. Oh how I have missed you Dairyette.
A perfect, peaceful weekend away.
We fished
Huck Finn style...
live bait
we even caught a few little ones....Jane wasn't sure what to think of it!

We discovered partway through our stay, that we could walk across the river. Secily loved it.
